The Parent Whisperer
Mary has 30 years’ experience counselling survivors of complex trauma, facilitating retreats, supervision, training and developing and presenting workshops. Since 2008 she has developed and facilitated a wide range of innovative, trauma based workshops for the Family Relationships Skills Program. These workshops have had record attendance and profound impact on many lives. They bring together the neurobiology of trauma, attachment theory and Narrative principles.
Facilitating these workshops Mary recognised that parents needed to be resourced and provided with ways of understanding and processing reactions to their children. She developed a series of unique workshops and compiled their content in a book called Creating New Futures, which will appear in the near future under publications (coming soon). She is available to individuals who need support when working through the material presented in the book. As a result of working through the exercises in Creating New Futures a parent may want support processing their experiences.
Phone or email support can be booked through the contact page and fee arrangement made.
